Her deep humility, warm hospitality, and genuine love for people allowed her to cross cultural boundaries and connect intimately with diverse communities.

As a beautiful testament to the close bonds she formed, women from different regional communities affectionately adopted her into their cultures, giving her local names that carried significant meaning:

Anchoring Women’s Discipleship in Nairobi

For many years, Ruth invested extensively in women across the capital city of Nairobi. She dedicated her time to helping them anchor their roots deeply in their walk with Christ and systematically equipped them to disciple others.

Her ministry framework was defined by three core pillars: intentional personal relationships, active and deep Scripture engagement, and radical, faithful obedience to the teachings of Jesus.

Strengthening the Work in Eldoret

Ruth later relocated and settled in Eldoret, where she continued her foundational work of mentoring women and providing a supportive presence to younger laborers stepping into full-time ministry.

Her spiritual influence expanded exponentially beyond the immediate circle of women she met face-to-face. Because she modeled multiplication so faithfully, many of her direct disciples went on to invest in subsequent generations, establishing their own multiplying disciplemaking movements across the region.

A Continuing Global Impact

Though she has since transitioned to serve from the United States, Ruth’s heart remains deeply tied to global missions. She continues to actively encourage, pray for, and support the strategic work of generational disciplemaking around the globe.

Her story stands as an enduring milestone in the movement, proving that a faithful, life-on-life investment in people leaves a rich spiritual legacy that effortlessly spans across generations.
